Funny movie from the director of Khosa ka Ghosla. It’s about a man who simply loves to steal, and the movie deals around his operations and life. The movie is in the same category as Ocean’s Eleven/Twelve/Thirteen, and you’ll like to watch the charming thefts.

Yuvvraaj
Horrible movie with a boring script. Boman Irani is wasted in the movie. It has all right concept, which could have been executed better. The music was melodious, but still boring.
The movie has some good scenes, and is cinematographed well. But when every thing else is disastrous, it affects watching experience badly.

Korrupsjon i Norge

Heat
Cool action thriller from the maker of Miami Vice. I didn’t like Heat that much when I watched it for the first time some year ago, but the experience was far better this time. The movie shows the personalities of the characters both from positive and negative point of view. This actually gives an interesting dimension in crime movies.
The bollywood movie Kaante was actually also inspired by Heat.

Fashion
Cool movie about a girl’s journey in the fashion world. The maker, Madhur Bhandarkar, tend to make so-called realistic movies, but these doesn’t seem to be that realistic. The movies tend to include masala etc to fit into the typical Bollywood format which the public easily can absorb. Therefore, his movies should quit marketing themselves as that realistic. This movie is advertised as a story which is going to unfold the fashion world, with taglines like “In the world of fashion – you’ll have to give more than your morals”. There aren’t that new uncovers when we take into consideration what kind of image we’ve got by following media.
However, despite the above mentioned, Fashion is a cool product with high entertainment value. The background score was also cool and fitted very well to the movie and to tell the story.

Braveheart
Good classical movie. Unfortunately, the watching experience wasn’t the same this time as it was first I watched this movie in around 2002.

Jo Nesbø: Snømannen (The Snowman)
Good and interesting crime novel from the Norwegian and internationally known author, Jo Nesbø.
Unfortunately, the climax gives a feeling of like any other climax in crime novel. I think the author could improvise this. Otherwise, the novel offers an interesting story and reading experience.

Rome – Season 2
Phenomenal season of this series. It has great production values, and the description of Rome as a sin city in old days is amazing. In the same time, while the characters are portrayed as people with lack of moral, the makers succeeded to show the characters human and good sides as well. This season is actually better than the previous one, and the last episode was superb.

Varg Veum – Din til Døden (Yours Until Death)
All right interesting thriller, but not that good as the previous two movies. As I said for the first movie in this series, it’s good that the Varg Veum movies has started to set more focus on the background score, but it’s not that inspiring when you notice that the music is clearly inspired by other movies and tend to be too similar to them. In this case, some of the score seemed similar to the score from Bourne-movies.

Arr i Sjelen / Wire in the Blood – Season 3
Good series, but the previous season was better than this one. Every episode tends to be relatively similar, and the spectacular climax isn’t that exciting when you know that it’s going to provide a novel and creative explanation, like another previous episodes. But still, entertaining and interesting.

Casino Royale
In order to prepare to the upcoming latest Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, I had to watch Casino Royale again. The movie was, again, great, and it inspired me a lot to watch the upcoming new movie.

Heroes
Good movie from the maker of Nanhe Jaisalmer. Heroes is a drama movie about some whether people should attend the military services or not. In this case, we meet several legenadry military heroes and their stories helps to make up a mind about how important this service is.
The movie is great, and full of emotions. The good thing with the movie is that despite it’s patriotic, it doesn’t put Pakistan in bad light, which actually was very common in patriotic movies which came earlier till around 2005. Instead of dragging Pakistan's name through the dirt, the maker has used a different view to show the tension between India and Pakistan and including the political issues. A really hatke movie.
