Prison Break – Season 3

Really good entertainment. After bombastic season 2, I didn’t have that much expectation, but it seemed out very good and interesting.

Doomsday

All right apocalyptic action thriller. The start was promising, but afterwards it evolved too similar to other apocalyptic movies. It’s made by the maker of superb The Descent.

The Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

All right, time pass and entertaining movie.

Max Manus – Man of War

All right Norwegian war movie, and one of Norway’s most expensive movies. I must say that the movie is over hyped, and not as good as many has said or reviewed.

Aksel Hennie is even nominated as best actor for this movie, but I think the bad guy, Ken Duken, did a much better job.

Kill Bill – Volume 2

Compared to the previous movie, this one has less action and focuses more on character description and the (background) story. I remember that I liked this movie better that the first movie last time I watched these, but this time I enjoyed more of the first movie. Perhaps it comes from which mood you are in. Still, enjoyable movies.

Kill Bill – Volume 1

I’ve actually desired several times to watch this movie again, and finally I got the chance and was amazed. I didn’t like the movie that much as this time when I watched it for the first when it came. Tarantino has made a nice cocktail of different genres (kung-fu, western spaghetti and action) which entertains you a lot. The script is funny and smart, and you can see that the movie is made with twinkle in one’s eye.

Sopranos – Season 3

All right series, but compared to the previous two seasons, this one wasn’t that good. Actually, when I was watching I was thinking how similar it was to the daily boring soaps on TV. Anyhow, it picked up in the last episodes.

Night at the Museum 2 / Natt på Museet 2

Funny movie, but I enjoyed the previous movie more than this one because this one is similar to the first movie.

Engler & Demoner / Angels & Demons

All right and interesting thriller, which is based on the book with same title. Since I didn’t remembered that much of the book, I could enjoy it more. Cool background score.

Mo Hayder: Tokyo

Boring book, and I can’t understand how it has got that good critics around the world. The climax was the most interesting part, and otherwise, the story evolved that slowly that I slept several times when reading it.
