300

Cool flick, but the watching experience wasn’t that cool and creative anymore compared to the first time I watched it. Actually, I was somehow disappointed on the Blu-ray version of this movie because the picture quality was too “grainy”.

Mere Yaar ki Shaadi hai

This is a typical Yash Raj romantic movie with their typical elements and atmosphere in the late 90’s/early 2000, which later became clichés. Not the entire movie is that entertaining anymore, but still good overall entertainment. It has good, nice and melodious songs which you still would like.

I think the movie is based on “My best friends wedding”.

Rainman

Good classic movie from 80’s, which I hadn’t watched earlier. The performance by Dustin Hoffman was amazing.

Actually, the disastrous Yuvvraaj was probably partly inspired by this movie.

Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye

All right and time pass movie, which actually was better than expected.

Delhi-6

Boring and baqwas movie about how it is to live in Delhi from the director of Rang De Basanti. The movie has an interesting message in the climax, but the evolvement till the ending during the first 2 hours is simply waste of time.

In the name of lack of creativity, some of the background score is taken from Million Dollar Baby.

The Office (An American Workplace) – Season 1

Funny series. This is the American version of the British series with the same title. Some of the shown incidents are simply embarrassing, but also funny at the same time. If some manager has unsatisfying results on staff satisfaction indices, this is a must watch in order to regain one's self-confidence.

Rating: 5 of 6

The International

Cool action thriller. The cinematography was amazing, which had a metaphoric message as well which you’ll probably notice after watching the movie.

It is directed by the director from Run Lola Run, and you’ll notice his treatment in this flick. The unique combination of good script and cinematography gives an entertaining experience.

Alias – Season 5

Finally, the series is over. The last season had an exciting start in the first four episodes, but the episodes went too repetitive afterwards. I am glad that it’s over, and I can watch other more exciting series’.

Billu Barber

All right feel good movie and somehow funny. The movie is just average entertainment, but the climax nice which helps to upgrade the rating. The music is simply uninspiring and sometimes boring.

Rating: 4/5 of 6

Wanted

An average cool action movie. It has cool action scenes, and the story is kind of science fiction. The story isn’t actually that inspiring, but still entertaining.

The Forbidden Kingdom

All right kung-fu action adventure movie. It’s first time that Jackie Chan and Jet Li are acting together in this film. The movie has nice choreography, cinematography etc etc, but still the story wasn’t that inspiring.

Rating: 4 of 6

Welcome

Funny movie. The script is obviously filmy as in many other typical Akshay Kumar-movies, and this works sometimes and sometimes not. This time, it worked, but still the movie managed to get some admirers and some haters.

Rating: 5/4 of 6

Luck by Chance

All right drama comedy from the debutant Zoya Akhtar as a director. She is the sister of Farhan Akhat and daughter of Javed Akhtar, and has contributed in the crew of various Farhan Akhar-movies.

The movie is about the Indian film industry (bollywood), and tells a story about how difficult it is to make it big there, especially for newcomers from unknown families. It has lots of cameos from well-known superstars in bollywood, which sometimes gives a comic feel to the story. Despite this, the movie is just an average experience, and it misses the extra ordinance.

The Bank Job

Cool and interesting movie which is based on a real event. In 1971, a robbery took place in London, and the robbers got away with cash and jewellery worth millions of pounds and it was classified as of the biggest robberies in British history. None of it was recovered, and nobody was ever arrested. The robbery made headlines for a few days and then disappeared. This movie reveals the story of what actually happened and tells a story in which the thieves were the most innocent people involved.

It was nice to experience the work which has been done to create London in 70’s. Particularly if you have seen the places in recent time.
