The Swedish movie based on the novel with same title. The book was one of the best novels I’ve read ever. The movie has also got pretty good reviews, and the makers has managed to create the atmosphere and pictures that the reader has made during reading the book. Well done. The movie is meant for the mature audience rather than children.Despite this, reading novels and watching movies based on the novels often tend to be different experiences. As usual, the movie lacks several portions of the story which were well-elaborated in the novel. In addition, the author described the characters and their thoughts very well in the novel, which is very difficult to show in a movie format. Therefore, for watching the movie is an all right entertaining experience, but reading the novel is the best option.
