Gran Torino

Good drama from Clint Eastwood. He plays the role of a retired and recently widowed Korean War veteran, and is angry at the world around him. After an episode, where he saves his neighbour, they start making a relationship.

The film marks Eastwood's return to a lead acting role after four years after Million Dollar Baby, and Eastwood has stated that this is his final film as an actor. Sad news, but we hope that he’ll continue to make good movies in the future.

Rating: 4/5 of 6

The film was good but quite predictable, actually. And very stereotyped but the end was good. I didn't see that coming.

I mostly agree with you Saroj. Somehow kind of cliche, but still interesting, and the ending was surprising. My Eastwood- favorites are Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby. Seen them? After watching these, a number of other Eastwood-movies tend not to be as good.

Jeg har nesten for mange Eastwood favoritter, men kan jo nevne noen; The Unforgiven, Flags of our fathers, True Crime, Changeling,Pale Rider, Gran Torino, og de du nevner =)

He he, endel disse ja.

For a few dollars more er forøvrig film nummer to i den såkalte "dollar trilogien"(For a few dollars, for a few dollars more og the good the bad and the ugly, alle knallbra filmer)
