Casino Royale

In order to prepare to the upcoming latest Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, I had to watch Casino Royale again. The movie was, again, great, and it inspired me a lot to watch the upcoming new movie.

Die Another Day

Guys, I’ve bought the tickets for the upcoming premiere of the latest James Bond movie; Quantum of Solace. In order to warm up to watch it, it’s time to refresh with the last James Bond movies.

After watching the superb Casino Royale, Die Another Day seems like an uninspiring orgy of special effects and cool gadgets with typical James Bond clichés. The story is relatively thin, and you know what you are going to experience. It was just in time to refresh the whole concept of James Bond which happened with Casino Royale. The previous movies tend to be too similar to each other.

Casino Royale

I watched this one last year at the cinema. Of various reasons, I didn’t have the optimal experience, so I watched it again. (Click her for the previous comments). The movie was just excellent! Now, I had time to get known to character of James Bond and focus on other non-action elements in the movie. Therefore, I improve the rating as well:

Good action movie, which doesn't follow the same path as previous James Bond movies.

More info will arrive when I watch this movie for the 2nd time. ;)

James Bond: Quantum of Solace

Disappointing compared to Casino Royale. This one began well with action, but Bond seemed to bee too focused on killing people than evolving the story forward. And the limited story evolvement wasn’t that novel and creative.

Still various good action scenes to offer, and good entertainment.
